approached me to design a festive, fun and colorful save the date for their destination wedding. The couple loved the hand painted sugar skulls and papel picado banners traditional to Mexico's culture.

Keeping this in mind, I set on designing a vector that incorporated Mexico's traditions as well as suited the client's taste. Selecting typography that was similar to images I found of authentic Mexican signage. From there the sugar skulls and array of unique decorative elements were hand-crafted to give the design a cut-out feel.
